Cancellation Policy

Please read our cancellation policies before making a purchase.

 

Overview

A clear guideline    

Before making any purchase of our services, we strongly recommend that you take a look at our T&Cs and cancellation policies. The policies that we have in place are legally binding to protect both our company and your interests.
Below, you will find that we uphold different cancellation policies for our different services. The terms explain grants of cancellation and refund clearly.
Please note that if you are a provided a specified signed contract, please refer to your signed contract which will state in full detail our cancellation and refund terms.

In-Person Services    

Due to the nature of private services, (the requirement to plan travel arrangements for the linguist and other related teaching material costs,) lessons, courses and consultations must be cancelled at least 28 days before the service starts. Customers will be entitled to a partial refund to accommodate travel costs and a 15% admin surcharge.
If private services are not cancelled 28 days before the service is scheduled to begin, you shall not be entitled to a refund.
It is not possible to reschedule private services, as we procure travel arrangements upon confirmation of booking. We suggest that if you are unable to attend private lessons, you gift your service to another learner or opt to use our online services instead. 

Course Cancellations

Online Courses   

Time Online Course Cancellation
+ 28 days Learners must cancel or reschedule at least 28 days before the course was booked to receive a full refund or confirmation of new scheduled fixture.
0-28 days Learners that chose to cancel or reschedule within 28 days of the course scheduled start shall not be entitled to a refund.

Courses that are booked within 28 days to the scheduled start date will not be able to be rescheduled or refunded.

Course Duration Learners are unable to gain a refund throughout the course and after it has finished.
No Show If the learner is scheduled for a consultation and chooses not to attend the course, they will not be entitled to a refund.
If the instructor is absent for the course, then the lesson shall be rescheduled.

Interpreting Cancellations

Online & Telephone Interpretations

Time Online & Telephone Interpreting Cancellations
+ 1 week Clients must cancel or reschedule at least 1 week before the interpretation was booked to receive a full refund or confirmation of new scheduled fixture.
0- 1 week Clients that chose to cancel or reschedule within 7 days of the interpretation scheduled start shall not be entitled to a refund.

Interpretations that are booked within 1 week to the scheduled start date will not be able to be rescheduled or refunded.

Interpretation Duration Clients are unable to gain a refund throughout the interpretation and after it has finished.
No Show If the client has scheduled for an interpretation and chooses not to attend, they will not be entitled to a refund.

If the interpreter is absent for the interpretation, then the interpretation shall be provided online/ by telephone or rescheduled.

Translation Cancellations

All Translation Services    

For all of our translation services, if a customer wishes to cancel they shall not be entitled to a refund due to the nature of the work. Procurement and work for translation services begins immediately upon purchase.
For this reason, we do not provide any refunds for our translation services. We shall only provide a refund if we are unable to provide the service originally paid for.
